Blunders and Absurdities

So I’ll say it now and I don’t care if you hear it or not. I’ll never care for you the way I once did. I’ll never wonder again if you think about me or if you wish that you’d have acted differently. I’ve come to the conclusion that you and I were never meant to be and our journey has come to an end. I won’t hate you but I won’t care either. One day you’ll be a distant memory that I’ll only think about when I pull through my keepsake box. Until then however, I’ll continue to live each day by myself and if I see you I’ll smile and carry on with my life; just like I promised myself I would.
